Six rooms, local cuisine & wine and a Day Designer:  experience Cinque Terre heritage.

La Sosta di Ottone III is a Small Boutique Hotel with Restaurant  in a historical home set in a medieval village where you can savour an authentic and peaceful Cinque Terre experience and unwind in a laid-back atmosphere.

Off the beaten track, La Sosta is in a prime position for striking out to the Cinque Terre, perched in the hills at the top end of the medieval village of Chiesanuova, 200 meters above sea level, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and the Levanto Valley.

A family project & dream

La Sosta is set in an historical home and what you see today dates back to roughly 1600.

In 2002 our family, Graziani Fenwick, bought what had been our holiday home. The renovation into a six room, boutique hotel is a family project, which involved us all.  We love this home and the area so right from the beginning our dream was to share exactly this with our future guests: we remain as rooted possible in local tradition and try to select the best the Ligurian region has to offer for you to enjoy.

So we hope that during your “sosta/stay” you connect with the Cinque Terre & Ligurian region right here, at La Sosta di Ottone III through:

.its décor

.food & wine

.local knowledge by our Day Designer

.artists and artisans

.the sea & valley view

.the rhythm and sounds of a medieval village, including … the church bells.

La Sosta’s building and location are a natural incentive to “make virtue of necessity”: sustainability, social impact and beauty of balance are values that have clearly emerged over the years and guide our decisions which continuously shape La Sosta di Ottone III’s identity.

Finally, it is worth remembering why the Cinque Terre have been included as one of the world's Unesco Heritage sites:

""It is a cultural site of exceptional value which illustrates a traditional way of life which has existed for more than a thousand years. It represents the harmonious interaction between man and nature to produce a landscape of exceptional scenic quality".
